Day Sixty Six: Back On The Strip...13/12/08
It was yet another go-slow morning, and we decided to hit the Strip around noon. We hopped on
the shuttle bus this time, and got off at the far end of the Strip, where we hadn't been yet. We visited some more famous casinos... MGM Grand, Monte Carlo and New York-New York. We spent a while in the MGM Grand, and they even have a lion enclosure inside. Once again we were wise with our money (if that's possible in Vegas), and after day two we're still up on the house. Although the house has gained a bit of ground alright... We came across a mad store along the strip.. Four floors dedicated entirely to M&M's and M&M themed accessories. Yeah, I'm talking about those chocolate and peanut flavored sweets. Four floors!! It was crazy... You could buy everything from M&M toothpicks, to M&M leather jackets. There was even a small theatre showing a 3D movie... about bloody M&M's!! Who the heck loves M&M's that much?! By the evening it actually started to get cold, and it was incredibly windy for a while. I hate to say it, but we might be putting away the shorts and sandals very soon. We've one more day in Vegas, and then we're making tracks for the Grand Canyon. It's below zero and there is a 90% chance of snow. Oh joy...
