Day Fifty Two: The Boys Meet Some Sealife...29/11/08

Well we woke up this morning and we were all set for Sea World.. That was of course until Aidan informed me of the admission fee. $65 to go and look at a couple of penguins and whales?! It was a bit steep for my idea of value for money, so I decided to hang around the RV park for the afternoon. I assigned Ronan as my substitute photographer and the boys made their way over to Sea World. The last thing Ronan said to me as he was leaving the RV, was that he had a full battery on his camera... Unfortunately by the time he got to Sea World the battery was some how dead?! (I don't know how to explain that one?). That's why there are no pictures to go with this post... The boys returned in the evening having thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Sea World. We had a bit of dinner and got ourselves ready to check out the San Diego nightlife. We took a trolley downtown and set out to find some lively spots. Aidan had heard of a lounge and nightclub called Envy, so that was the first place we went to. Standing in line waiting to get in, it was immediately obvious that this place was a bit too classy for us. Myself and Ronan were told to hand our hoodies in to the front desk, they charged us a $20 entry fee and I won't even get in to the price of drinks!! So yeah, we left after one drink! We found a nearby sports bar called The Local. It was more to our liking so we just spent the rest of the night there, and eventually got a taxi back to base.. We had a really fun night!!
