Day Three: More NYC sightseeing 11/10/08

We met up with the newly-weds at about 11.30am and got the Subway into Manhattan before doing a changeover which took us close to the Brooklyn Bridge. Once again the weather was lovely, and perfect for a stroll across the bridge. The views of the New York were amazing and we could see The Statue of Liberty way of in the distance.

There is currently an art exhibit on the bridge where basically they have created a waterfall. We then took a walk down to a little park beside the bridge on the Brooklyn side of the river and chilled for a while.

After that we got the Subway back to Manhattan to do some shopping. Aidan went to A&F and had to queue outside to get in and apparently it was exactly like a nightclub except they sold clothes. Later that evening we went to Union Square and had dinner. We briefly checked out Barnes & Noble bookstore and then got on the Subway and made our way back to the hotel.

We almost wore our shoes away with the amount of walking we did today so we decided just to sit around for the night and watch a bit of TV.
