Day Sixteen: Still parked up... 24/10/08

There's not a whole lot to write about today. We did beat our record and spent 2 hours having breakfast, then we drove a couple of miles down the road to the naval base where all the fighter jets are coming from. Naturally, we drove into a restricted area and were promptly turned around. We gave up on that idea and Aidan and Ronan decided they wanted to visit the local aquarium. Myself and Brian had seen fish before so we just chilled in the RV while the boys were inside (very handy bringing your house with you wherever you go). We returned to camp and parked up for the evening. There's a "Halloween Fear Fest" in the park tonight and there's loads of hicks and hillbillies rallying around the place in golf carts and doing terrible drunken karaoke. Hilarious!! Early to bed tonight so we're ready for the seven hour drive to North Carolina tomorrow.
